  3. Thommy - guessing it might have been late Sept. or early Oct. of 1987, since the band played some headlining dates around that time before opening for R.E.M. starting late Oct. Does that sound about right?

  7. I have a concert flyer for the 40 Watt in Athens, GA from '83 0r '84 that lists the DBs as playing there on Thursday the 24th. Not sure which month or year. Any idea? https://www.instagram.com/p/CUdRZlPAck2/

    1. I researched the months based on '83 & '84 calendars. By process of elimination (and the fact that The dB's did very little gigging in '83), I think it was probably May 24, 1984. They were gigging again in the Southeast, so May 24 that year makes sense. Thanks for the info!

  8. I saw the dBs in Baltimore at a place called Girards (a former disco that briefly converted to a live music venue). I have not been able to track down the date, but it was sometime after the release of "Like This" and before Dec.1985 when Girard's burned down.
