it would not. Stop here every Friday and always appreciate what I find dl or no; I learn stuff & enjoy the smart, insightful, witty stuff.Thank you.
Ha! Thanks for the comment, Eric. Have a great weekend.
Rob, thanks very much for all of the cool early dB's and Let's Active shows (Lloyd Cole, too!).I just grabbed the XTC Black Sea demos today...despite being a huge XTC fan with many boots of theirs, I have never heard these...thanks again!
Cheers, Brian. Thanks for your comment. Please enjoy the music!
Hey Rob, thanks for all the hard work here, if I have never managed to say that to you before. It's obviously a labor of love, and we, The dB's, love you for it. BTW, the great Eddie Muñoz in the picture of the 5-piece band played with The dB's for only two shows, both at Jimmy's Music Club in New Orleans. Harold Kelt continued on with us, covering guitar and keyboards, but Eddie was not replaced.
Thank you for chiming in, Peter! I have always felt appreciated by you, and your message is a lovely affirmation. I will update that photo caption with your additional info. Stop by any time, kind sir.
Fast Eddie was an Austin hero when I arrived here in 1976-7...and how cool for an actual dB to pop in. Damn. In awe.
Just discovered your blog today while searching Falkner. Can't wait to dig in...Thanks!
Many thanks for all your great work on this blog!! Follow you weekly and have really enjoyed many, many of the groups/songs you have posted. Thanks again!!! Mike.
