ROB SEZ: We're getting back to the origins of the blog with this post. Lilpanda is the one to thank for this very impressive recording. He snagged a direct feed from the soundboard and added an ambient recording using onstage microphones, mixed to create a superb audio artifact. If you leave a comment (GIGANTIC hint) please thank the great Lilpanda.

ROB SEZ: A recording that's new to the blog. I think we needed more of that Holsapple-Stamey vibe, so here 'tis. A show from Peter & Chris' duo tour following the release of Mavericks. This recording didn't get posted in the earlier years of the blog because I could never identify the exact date or who to thank. A VERY LARGE THANKS to the taper & sharer(s). Thanks also to Fantom, whose research suggests the show might have happened on Nov. 9, 1991. Please enjoy.

ROB SEZ: Here's a little something to commemorate the two recent, special shows at which Peter and Chris performed their classic duo album, Mavericks, in its entirety. The first was in Philadelphia on Dec. 5, and the second was this show the next evening in Brooklyn, NY. Thankfully, a couple of fans were there to record some of the songs, so we get to enjoy a bit of virtual reality.
